[Toqua OA Chapter] chapter stuff

toqua arrowmen -
 
thanks to mr. shanks we have all of our new members on this mailing list,  
along with all of our older members, too.  as a test of how effective the  use 
of e-mail can be, please reply to this message.
 
our next chapter gathering is tomorrow, august 30th.  we had a pretty  good 
crowd at the meeting last week, but let's do better.
 
keep in mind that we will elect officers for both the lodge and the chapter  
at the fall fellowship, which is September 7 - 9 at camp pellissippi.  if  you 
think you can do a job, and will devote the needed time and effort,  then go 
for it!  and, when you vote, put aside personal likes and dislikes  and cast 
it for the person who is best suited for the job.  if you haven't  registered, 
go to the lodge website for the form.  while you are there,  sign up to 
receive the newsletter.  and, let's get back into the  habit of winning the quest at 
fellowship!  
 
we have people who have obligated themselves for dancing/drumming/singing  at 
the camp pellissippi canoe derby the week-end of September 14-16th.   let's 
plan for this at our next meeting.
