[Toqua OA Chapter] fall ordeal

toqua arrowmen -
 
fall ordeal is just around the corner - august 10-12, 2007.  we only  have 
three chapter gatherings before it hits us, and a lot of work to do.   the work: 
 preparation for the pre-ordeal ceremonies (the basis of all  other 
ceremonies, and arguably the most important), preparation for the ordeal  ceremonies, 
getting the circle ready for the ordeal ceremonies, and staffing the  lodge for 
everything else that occurs.  
 
the staff registration form can be printed from the lodge website, which is  
_www.pellissippilodge.org_ (http://www.pellissippilodge.org) .   please do 
this quickly - the $15.00 fee will go to $25.00 after august 1,  2007.  
registration is also important in that it gives the ordeal  staff numbers to work with 
in food ordering.  (while you are looking at the  lodge website, subscribe to 
the newsletter).  there are several area of  service at the ordeal - 
elangomat, ceremonies, kitchen staff, and service staff  (everything else).  pick an 
area, and decide that you will give your best  service.  
 
remind the arrowmen in your troops of the ordeal, and especially remind  
those candidates who did not attend the spring ordeal.  if they miss this  one 
they must be elected again, unless they have very good reason for  missing.
 
i hope to see a big bunch of you at our next three chapter  gatherings.
