[Toqua OA Chapter] chapter stuff

toqua arrowmen -
 
the section conclave, the event that we have anticipated with apprehension  
for months, is over and done!!!  pellissippi lodge did a magnificent job,  to 
that extent that other lodges are concerned about having to do a  follow-up.  
many of you were involved in the planning, the workdays,  and the event itself 
this past week-end.  thanks to all of you.
 
we have a few things coming up for the chapter.  first,  TONIGHT, is a 
cross-over for nine boys in pack 757 at webb lower  school.  eats are at 6:30, with 
ceremony to follow.  no  drum/dance.  those who committed to do this one are 
joseph, gabe, kenny,  and ben.
 
next is the webelos camporee cross-over on santurday, April 28th, at camp  
buck toms.  we need drummers, dancers, torch bearers, and a cross-over  team.  
the more the better.  we have commitments from joseph, j. d.,  and tandy, with 
maybes from leif and andrew.  we need more!!!  talk it  up with each other, 
and we will make final plans on Thursday night.
 
the toqua spring camporee will happen on the week-end of may 4-6 at camp  
buck toms, at the "scar."  we need several call-out teams for this.   the 
camporee chairman has told me that the campfire on Saturday night will  consist 
almost entirely of stuff done by the chapter, like drumming/dancing and  the 
call-out.  let's get our plans made for this.
 
we have a request for a cross-over for a new pack (949) on monday, may  21st. 
 (i think y'all talked about this at the meeting i  missed).  it is at grace 
christian academy on oak ridge highway, in the  karns area.  there will be a 
spaghetti dinner at 6:30, with the ceremony to  follow.
 
that's all for now.  plan to be at our next meeting/gathering this  Thursday 
evening, April 26th.
