Cubmasters
Are the boys in your Pack registered for the Toqua District Day Camp or
Twilight Camp?
Every year Cub Scouts who want to go to Day Camp get turned away
because the camp is full. Twilight Camp is NEW THIS YEAR!! Spaces are
going fast!
Do you have questions such as: what will the boys are doing, what
advancements we will be working on, what should he/you should bring. CAN I
VOLUNTEER?
The Promotion Team would like to visit one of your upcoming Pack
meetings. We can answer these and many other questions your families have.
We can also register your boys on the spot!
We are recruiting boys and STAFF, NOW. Remember, all Packs must send AT
LEAST ONE ADULT FOR EVERY 8 BOYS. Our camp is 100% volunteer ran. Without
volunteers we have no camp!
Scoutmasters
The Cub Scouts of today are your future Boy Scouts! What better way to
recruit boys into Boy Scouts than to have your Boy Scouts at Twilight or
Day Camp. They can set the example and tell the Cubs what great fun they
will have when they get to be Boy Scouts!
The Promotion/Recruitment Team wants your boys!! We would like to visit
one of your upcoming Troop meetings. We can tell you and your Scouts WHY
THEY SHOULD VOLUNTEER AT CUB CAMP.
To work at camp, boys must be 14 years old and be recommended by their
Scoutmaster. If they are under 14 and serve as Den Chiefs assigned to a
Pack, those boys can come to camp with boys from that Pack.
New guidelines from BSA National Standards now allow boys under the age
of 14 years old work at camp. We can explain this in full detail.
Volunteering can be a fun and educational experience for your boys.
Cubmasters and Scoutmasters
Please send us at least two times that we could come to one of your
upcoming meetings. We will send you a confirmation e-mail as to when you
can expect us. If your Cubmaster or Scoutmaster is not on this list,
please share this information with them.
