Dear Scouts and Scouters,

The Toqua District Activities and Civic Service Committee invites all Troops, Crews, and Webelos Dens to take part in the 2007 Fall Camporee in Townsend, TN.

This Camporee is a service camporee to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Tremont. The district will camp beside the Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center in Townsend and do service work in the surrounding area,

The cost of the Camporee is 10.00 per participant. This will cover the cost of the Camporee, a patch, camping, and site usage fees. A spaghetti dinner Saturday evening will be provided for an additional $1 per participant or $3 per guest. Pre-registration is required and a form is included in this package.

The Camporee is for all Boy Scout Troops, Venture Crews, and Webelos Dens.

The Saturday night campfire is still being planned but will have some new twists. Don’t forget to bring blankets to sit on and flashlights. Parents and siblings are invited to attend dinner and the campfire.

The Scout Oath and Law will guide all activities and individual behavior.

We look forward to a great weekend of camping.
